It is with great excitement that I write this letter as the principal of Mary S. Peake Elementary School! I am honored to lead our school community and ensures academic excellence for every child, every day, whatever it takes. 

I come to you with 20 years of experience as an educator in urban and suburban settings from the elementary and middle school levels. My experiences have helped me prepare students to become college, career, and life-ready as they navigate the pathways of the Portrait of a Hampton Graduate. I have spent the last six years in the Hampton City School District as an educator, instructional leader, and assistant principal. 

I wholeheartedly believe that ALL students can learn and achieve at high levels. My goal is to ensure that our children receive a world-class education in a safe and nurturing environment every day. I am committed to working in partnership with our families, staff, and community to support children in reaching their maximum potential. 

I look forward to another school year together and growing with our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive parents and community. Go Mighty Oaks!
